Art and music lovers found themselves in the famous Gaslamp Quarter in Downtown San Diego for the 2nd Annual Gaslamp Art and Music Festival, held on Saturday May 25th. Some of the participating galleries included the  Chuck Jones Gallery, Barleymash, Brick & Mortar, Exclusive Collections, Caijin Noodle and Sake House, Henneseys Tavern San Diego, Henry’s Pub, and Michael J Wolf Fine Arts Gallery. Various bands played at bars and stages including Fred’s Mexican Cafe, Whiskey Girls, The Stage Bar, and The Field Irish Pub.

Art lovers not only enjoyed exhibits, but they were also able to meet artists and watch them put their art tools to work. Artists participating in Meet the Artist included Bbo Elias, Michaell Summers, Pete Tillack, and Robert Holton.

Some of the bands included Fuzzy and the Bluesman, Missy Anderson Band, The Fooks, Miles Ahead, Fish & The Seaweeds, Baron Presley, Baja Bugs, Santana Patti, Van Roth, and The Junk Poets.

Although to enter some places you had to be at least twenty one, underage fans still enjoyed the festival at places like Fred’s Cafe and most of the art galleries.

This young festival has proven to be a popular, fun Memorial Day Weekend getaway in the heart of San Diego.
