Emo Rock Music Lovers Unite

For the past two years, emo rock music lovers in Los Angeles have united to dance and rock out to their favorite music on the first Tuesday of every month in Echo Park. It’s Emo Night L.A. and it’s literally taking back Tuesday.

Emo Night L.A.: Taking Back Tuesday started out as a little get together at a local dive bar, but it has exploded into an even bigger party.  The event has gained a lot of popularity since it first began with 2,000+ people in attendance every night. Because of this, Emo Night L.A. has some exciting news.

Starting May 2nd, the party will be even bigger! The monthly event used to only be held at the Echoplex, but it will now take over The Echo as well. This addition to the venue will add double the amount of space to accommodate twice the amount of heads banging, fists pumping, and feet dancing.

But that’s not all. Each month a different musician guest DJs the show, but now Emo Night L.A. will be hosting live bands at each event, too. Previous DJs have been Mikey Way of My Chemical Romance, Marko DeSantis of Sugarcult, Jesse Mack Johnson of Motion City Soundtrack, and Mark Hoppus of Blink-182, and many more, so we can only imagine the amazing lineup that will come from Emo Night L.A. hosting live bands. It’s sure to be an incredible experience that will take you back to your emotional, rebel days of your teenage years.

And still, the big news continues! Emo Night L.A.: Taking Back Tuesday has officially decided that this fun night of reminiscing and rocking out shouldn’t only be enjoyed by music lovers in the Los Angeles area. The event is hitting the road and spreading the emo rock music love. While it will still be held once a month at Echo Park in Los Angeles, Emo Night L.A. will also be making appearances in San Diego, Portland, Nashville, and more.
