A Quiet Place: Part II, the highly-anticipated sequel to John Krasinski’s 2018 thriller A Quiet Place, will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on July 27.
The film continues the story of the Abbott family, who live in a post-apocalyptic world surrounded by dangerous creatures who hunt by sound. As the original film provided little context for the Abbott family’s circumstances, the sequel reveals more about who the creatures are and how they came to Earth.
The DVD and the Blu-ray will both be available individually, but more committed fans of the film franchise will be able to purchase a 2-Movie Collection featuring both the original film and the sequel as well as the 4K Ultra HD Combo Pack. The Combo Pack includes a 4K Ultra HD Disc, a high-definition Blu-ray Disc, and the following special features:
- Director’s Diary: Filming with John Krasinski
- Pulling Back the Curtain
- Regan’s Journey
- Surviving the Mania
- Detectable Disturbance: Visual Effects and Sound Design
In the meantime, the film deemed Certified Fresh by Rotten Tomatoes is still playing in theaters and is available to stream on Paramount+.
