Alaska the Band debuts music video “Bong Rips with the King of Heck” and Playing SXSW in March

alaskaAlaska the Band offers a unique experience for their fans through their debut “Bong Rips with the King of Heck” music video on 36Vultures. The music video is an invitation for everyone, from their long time devoted fans to newcomers; Bong Rips entices a conversation. Down to Earth, chill, comforting: Alaska the Band has created a wide-ranging selection of tunes and emotions through their sophomore album Shrine. Paralleling the musical concepts behind psychedelic rock, math rock, experimental rock and progressive, Alaska the Band characterizes their sound in a refreshingly new way.

Based in Henderson, Nevada, Alaska will be touring the Southwest U.S. this year and will be making a pivotal stop at SXSW next month  in March. If you miss any of their tour dates, that is unfortunate for you. However, another awesome way of getting to know Alaska is through their blog, where the band members give detailed descriptions of their day to day journey as an up and comer.
