Alejandro created a fundraiser to help out of work musicians after the release of his version of Joan Sebastian’s classic “Eso y Más” and donated 100% of the proceeds to MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund in the United States and MúsicaMéxico COVID-19 in Mexico.

Alejandro Fernández offered a historic livestreaming event in October 2020 for America A Una Sola Voz (America Together in One Voice), a concert which was viewed by over 150,000 fans in 19 different countries throughout American continents.  During his performance, he took the time to remind the audience the importance of voting in the upcoming elections which led to the release of “Vota Por Nosotros” (Vote For Us) along with other artists, in hopes to encourage Latino voters to vote for themselves and our community as a whole in the November 3rd elections.

As Alejandro accepted his Latin Grammy, he dedicated the award to the recent hurricane victims in southern Mexico and donated MXN $1,000,000.00 to the Mexican Red Cross to aid with the relief efforts.
