Alessos new track, “Tilted Towers” has not only advanced the upcoming “Ninjawerks” album, but is also hailed as an “infectious, pulsing wild ride of driving beats… perfect for long nights of gaming.”
“I made this record after being inspired by Fortnite’s Tilted Towers. It’s where most people land so it’s very action-packed, intense, and chaotic. I’ve been playing this song during my shows and everyone has been enjoying it. When I found out about this project with Ninja, I knew that it was the perfect home.”- Alesso
In a first for the music and gaming worlds, Astralwerks and Tyler “Ninja” Blevins have joined forces on a revolutionary new project, Ninjawerks – an original soundtrack featuring music from top electronic artists around the globe.
‘Tilted Towers,’ is a downright club track with pulsing beat, steamy bass and an exotic vocal.” – Billboard.
His previously debut single “Remedy,” recently ascended to #1 on the U.S dance charts and several top Spotify playlists, since its live performance on Good Morning America.
“Remedy demonstrates a matured side of Alesso that works beautifully… through subtle and thoughtful production, as well as the gorgeous incorporation of vocals, Alesso has crafted something unique and inspired… records like this remind us there is a lot more to music than what is expected.”- EDM Sauce
Hailing from Stockholm, Alesso won over his country from the very start of his career. His second single as the lead artist, 2012’s “Calling (Losing My Mind)” with the legendary Swedish House Mafia’s Sebastian Ingrosso and Grammy award-winning OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder, was certified 2x Platinum in Sweden while also reaching no. 1 on Billboard’s US Hot Dance Club Songs.
He consistently released remixes, including the Alesso Remix to “Pressure” by Nadia Ali, Starkillers, and Alex Kenji which was named the “tune of 2011” by Kaskade en route to a nomination for Best Progressive Track at the International Dance Music Awards.
While continuing to release remixes, Alesso was fine-tuning his debut album Forever. In 2013, he released “If I Lose Myself” with OneRepublic which was certified 4x Platinum in Sweden and “Under Control” with Calvin Harris featuring Hurts which was certified Gold in the United States.
He will finish off 2018 by ringing in the new year at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach, alongside Reggaetón superstar J Balvin.
“The Fontainebleau’s annual poolside New Year’s Eve bash is always one of the hottest tickets in town. But the evening always promises some huge names and this year is no different thanks to performances by Colombian megastar J Balvin and Swedish DJ Alesso.” – Timeout Miami
