Angels & Airwaves Rock In Return To Glass House Pomona

Angels & Airwaves the side project band of Blink 182 member Tom Delonge returned to the place were the band played for the first time, The Glass House in Pomona, CA. In this stop of the tour supporting the bands latest album, “Love Part II” they did not let the fans down.

The band is formed by Delonge at lead vocal/guitar with David Kennedy rhythm guitar and vocals, Matt Wachter on bass/synthesizers/vocals and Ilan Rubin on drums. The band played a mix of songs from all of the albums they have released, from the latest “Surrender” to “Valkyrie Missle” off of the first album, “We Don’t Need To Whisper” and “The Adventure”.

In the middle of the set Delonge took a moment to reflect on the past and mention how special the venue was to him. It was the fist venue to perform at with this current project and his last side project band, Box Car Racer in which drummer of Blink 182 Travis Barker originally formed. He would then go into the Box Car Racer hit, “There Is”. Last nights show at the Glass House closed out the performances in the United States. The band will now travel to Australia at the end of February to continue their tour.
