“Anitta ‘Indecente’: from the 70’s costumes to the special participants, Singer records clip live on the internet: Anitta celebrated her 25th birthday in a different way, she called her friends and international artists to a party where she lives, where the recording of the new video of Indecente took place …broadcast live on social networks, an initiative never before seen in Brazil.” – VOGUE (Brazil)
A composer of all her own songs, and already considered the leading artist of a new generation of young Brazilian singers, Anitta has had three chart-topping albums released by Warner Music, broken national airplay and digital streaming records and won many of her country’s most important music awards – all by the age of 24.
She has quickly risen to global prominence across the last year on the strength of recent trilingual collaborations with J Balvin, Major Lazer, Alesso, Maluma, Poo Bear, and more. With over 27 million Instagram followers, 18 million monthly Spotify listeners and more than 8 million YouTube subscribers already to her credit, Anitta decided to get creative in how she would share her latest single “Indecente” with fans.
Working with her longtime video director Bruno Ilogti, and a cast made up of special friends and artists from around the word, Anitta transformed her birthday celebration into a Studio 54 era celebration of disco glamour. The live-streaming music video creation required the participation of 80 creative professionals, three truckloads of gear and the installation of a generator, new fiber-optic cables and a broadcast antenna to present the global live stream.
Written by Justin Quiles and Fuego, and produced by DVLP, Luyo & DJ Yuri Martin, “Indecente” details ‘a seduction game between two people, in which provocation is the raw material of the relationship’ and returns Anitta to her solo performance roots in a 100% Spanish lyric fusion of piano driven Latin pop, danceable Latin Trap, and the rhythmic drums of Brazilian funk. Soon after the track became available on music platforms around the world, Anitta launched a global YouTube live stream, taking viewers inside the Live, in-the-moment creation of the“Indecente” music video from Anitta’s own 25th birthday celebration at her home in Brazil – a first of its kind presentation in the country.
