This past February; J Balvin was awarded the title of ‘Artist of the year’ at Univision’s annual award show; ‘Premio Lo Nuestro,’ for a third time in a row. An achievement that has never been met by another artist, in the shows 30 year-run.

Earlier this month, reggaetón’s leading producer and songwriter, SKY ROMPIENDO. Invited Balvin to the stage, for his set at Columbia’s ‘La Solar Festival.’ Where the duo performed, some of their shared hits. Such as “Reggaeton” and “Safari,” to the delight of the large audience.

Following back-to-back musical releases, starting with his collaboration hit ‘Bola Rebola with Brazilian mega-star Anitta and Tropkillaz. Which has had over 43 million views on Youtube since its release three-weeks ago. He followed it with the release of the single, ‘I Can’t Get Enough,’ featuring; Benny Blanco, Tainy and Selena Gomez. Its music video was released earlier last week and has already reached over 22 million views on YouTube.

Balvin has currently surpassed 20 million subscribers on YouTube and is the #3 Spotify artist in the world. Thus, making him the #1 Latin artist currently in the company of Ariana Grande and Post Malone. Last week also saw the global release of his and Sean Paul’s quickly and widely praised second collaboration, “Contra La Pared.” Balvin also teased parts of the music video to his 28 million Instagram followers. The full video has reached 7 million views as of Tuesday morning, on YouTube. His album ‘VIBRAS’ was also once again names, ‘Latin Album of The Year’ at the iHeart Radio Music Awards. Along with ‘X’ featuring Nicky Jam for ‘Latin Song of The Year.’

He is set to make an appearance on April 6th at the KAOS Nightclub at The Palms in Las Vegas, alongside Cardi B and G-Easy.
