Anthony Keidis of Chili Peppers Hospitalized

Irvine, CA – Lead singer of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Anthony Keidis was hospitalized this evening canceling their performance at the 2016 Weenie Roast held at Irvine Meadows.

It was reported by concert venue official that he was taken to the hospital but no further details.

“Anthony is on his way to the hospital right now and we’re unable to play this evening,” he said. “We are devastated about it. We’re really sad. We love you so much. We live to rock. …. But unfortunately there’s a medical thing that happened and he needed to deal with it,” said Flea bassist for the band.
