The founder of the company named Apple is gone. Steve Jobs passes away today and loses his fight with Pancreatic Cancer. Born in 1955 Jobs was the adopted son of Paul and Clara Jobs of Mountain View, California. During high school Jobs had worked at Hewlett Packard. He had enrolled in Reed College in Portland, Oregon were he dropped out after his first year of college. He would return to San Francisco to work for Atari gaming and while attending meeting of the Homebrew Computer Club he would meet Steve Wozniak. In 1978 they both with the help of Ronald Wayne created Apple at the age of 2o years old in a garage at his house. In the beginning the company had some trouble and even left the company for a time until he made his return to the company he created in 1996. In the time he was back at Apple Jobs had purchased Pixar Entertainment from George Lucas which he would later sell the computer animation company to the Walt Disney Company and become the largest stockholder in the company. Jobs created products that would change the world and how we do work and communicate with each other. Desktop computers, redesigned home computer and his revolutionary iPod, iPhone and iPad. He is known as the Thomas Edison of our generation changing the way we think of the home computer and how it became a part of your life. Jobs inspired many in the tech industry and the world to know that a guy from modest background could leave this world with one of the biggest companies in the world. Jobs will be missed greatly in this country for his innovation and his help with charities in this country.

Apple has lost a visionary and creative genius, and the world has lost an amazing
human being. Those of us who have been fortunate enough to know and work with Steve have lost a dear friend and an inspiring mentor. Steve leaves behind a company that only he could have built, and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple.
