Last night, Manhattan sparkled for the premiere of Before You Know It. Judith Light and her fellow castmates of the film took over the Landmark 57th Street Theater to celebrate the film’s release. Likewise, Matt Bomer, Constantine Maroulis, and Marky Ramone also stopped by to support the film. 

Before You Know It was an official selection at this year’s Sundance Film Festival. The film is directed by and stars Hannah Utt as Rachel Gurner, a stage manager who still lives in her childhood apartment along with her actress sister Jackie (Jen Tullock), her eccentric father Mel (Mandy Patinkin) and her preteen niece Dodge (Oona Yaffe). Rachel is the rock to the family that is always coming on glued, but in lieu of recent events Rachel and Jackie come to find that there once believe deceased mother is actually very much alive and thriving as a soap opera actress played by Judith Light. In light of recent events, Rachel struggles to liberate herself from the loonies and find her own way. Rounding out the cast of characters also includes Alec Baldwin as Dodge’s therapist.

Before You Know It opens in theaters on Friday, August 30th, 2019.
