Bernie Sanders takes a more Millennial route by meeting with Cardi B to discuss current issues.

A video was release on Thursday featuring Bernie and Cardi at an African American owned Nail Bar in Detroit, Michigan. The two talked about criminal justice reform, cancelling student debt, and immigration reform for student DREAMers to name a few.

A few weeks ago, Cardi B went on Instagram to ask her followers what questions they would like to ask a democratic candidate. One follower got his questions answered when Cardi asked Bernie “What are we going to do when it comes to the DREAMers in this country?  Bernie promised Cardi, “Trump ended the DACA program with an executive order. In the first week I am President we’re going to reestablish and expand that DACA program. There are about 1.8 million young people who have only known the United States as their home . . . This is where they were raised.”

Cardi B also asked one of the most popular question she received from millennials and Gen Z, “How will our student loans be forgiven?” Students no longer want to go to school, which is a big problem according to Bernie, “Young people 25 to 30 were told you have to go to college to get a job, so they went $50,00 a $100,000 in debt . . . if you can get into college you should be able to get a college education regardless of your income.” Bernie says all this will be possible by cancelling student debt and putting a tax on Wall Street.

The video which discusses much more will be available on all social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube. In a new attempt to reach all audiences and first-time voters who can make a big impact on the upcoming 2020 Presidential Election.
