The 5th grand finale of Rémy Martin Producer Series gave an aspiring music producer an opportunity of a lifetime Wednesday night in Los Angeles, Ca. The event hosted by DJ Envy (The Breakfast Club) attracted the biggest industry names and the tournament-styled competition was judged by top music industry executives. Cocktail hour included signature drinks for the series including, Rémy Martin’s 1738 Limited Edition Speaker Box. Rémy Martin’s newest star collaborated with Live Nation to create an echo vibe at the series and crafted the brand’s music campaign.
After competing in 7 cities across the U.S., 7 aspiring music producers made it to the grand finale of the series to compete for a co-sign and to produce a track with Grammy nominated hip-hop artist, Big Sean and chart-topping producer, Mustard. The regional winners who competed in Los Angeles included:

When looking for a sound, Sean says he looks for a sound that inspires him because everything he hears, he is visualizing. After several rounds of showcasing their beats, it came down to the top 2 producers of the night, Young Sidechain and Milo. It was a close competition as both producers saved their best beat for last, but Milo brought his own style to the stage and impressed the judges and definitely had the crowd feeling his beat. Milo took the grand prize home and his next stop is the studio to start creating hip-hop’s next biggest hit.
