Paul Walker In Car Crash, Dead at 40

Paul Walker the star of the popular film series, Fast and Furious died in an automobile accident in Santa Clarita/Valencia area this afternoon. Walker was said to be in a Porsche and was reported first on TMZ.com and then after the post we confirmed the facts.

The accident occurred in Santa Clarita – outside of Los Angeles – when Walker’s Porsche apparently lost control and crashed into a tree, TMZ reported.The car burst into flames and exploded, TMZ reported. Authorities are still investigating the scene of the crime but another person was in the vehicle and it is unclear who was driving the vehicle.

Walker was taking place in a charity event to help raise money for the victims of the Philippines typhoon. According to IMDB.com bio Paul William Walker IV was born on September 12, 1973, in Glendale California. He began acting when he was very young, appearing in many TV commercials. In 1987 he played Prof. Bennet in Monster in the Closet (1986). He then starred in the television series, Throb(1986). He also made guest appearances on several television shows including Charles in Charge (1984),Highway to Heaven (1984), Who’s the Boss? (1984) and Diff’rent Strokes(1978). Paul also had a role in the soap opera The Young and the Restless (1973).

In 1987 Paul was cast in Programmed to Kill (1987) as the character Jason, and since then he has appeared in a steady stream of movies. He is definitely a rising star and not only does he have good looks, charm, wit and excellent acting skills, he also majored in Marine Biology at a California community college.

Walker leaves behind a 15-year old daughter.

It is with a truly heavy heart that we must confirm that Paul Walker passed away today in a tragic car accident while attending a charity event for his organization Reach Out Worldwide. He was a passenger in a friend’s car, in which both lost their lives. We appreciate your patience as we too are stunned and saddened beyond belief by this news. Thank you for keeping his family and friends in your prayers during this very difficult time. We will do our best to keep you apprised on where to send condolences. –#TeamPW
