BTS Raises $1.4 Million For UNICEF

Love Yourself Campaign Garner Big Money For Charity

BTS raised $1.4 million (1.6 billion KRW) in donation for their “Love Myself” campaign in partnership with UNICEF.

The BTS twitter account through Big Hit Entertainment announced the amazing number the band and the BTS Army helped raise over the period of time. The tweet read and you can see below, “THANKS TO ARMY LOVE MYSELF 캠페인 1주년!

“In the year since UNICEF and BTS joined together to eradicate violence against children, we have raised over 1.6 billion won,” said UNICEF Korea in a statement. “During it, they have continued to spread their positive influence, such as with the UN General Assembly ‘Speak Yourself’ speech.”

The funds raised were not only by donations. The band also donated money from the Love Yourself series of albums and other good related to the band.
