The countdown clock has started to one of the most anticipated videos of the week. BTS is going to be releasing the highly anticipated new single, Dynamite to the world. The music video and the new song has a pop disco vibe to the track and it is all in english. It is the groups first time that a song of there’s is completely in english. The group had announced the track during a livestream on V Live which was held on July 26 but they never mentioned the name of the song or the album.
“We have prepared a new single for ARMY, set for August 21,” BTS said in the livestream. “We are preparing an album for the second half of this year, but decided to first release a single because we wanted to reach our fans as soon as possible. Due to COVID-19, people around the world have been going through tough times and we wanted to share some positive energy with our fans.”
The group earlier this week released a teaser of the video to announce the music videos release. The teaser video was viewsed 50.1 million times in 2 days.
BTS is set to release another concert film in September entitled, Break The Silence: The Movie which follows the group during their 2019 Love Yourself: Speak Yourself World Tour concerts.
The group is currently set to perform on August 30 for the MTV Video Music Awards at 5pm PT/8pm ET.
