Bugs Bunny celebrated 75th birthday on Monday

Bugs BunnyBugs Bunny debut came in 1940 in the episode, “A Wild Hare.”

The first ever line spoken by Bugs was the now well known trademark, “What’s up doc?”

Such an appropriate and amusing introduction and title to the Bugs Bunny fans would watch for the following decades.

Bugs is outsmarting and evading, two traits the bunny will be well known for, hunter Elmer Fudd in the episode.

Bugs goes on to cleverly and comedically outsmart other peers like Yosemite Sam and Daffy Duck in future episodes.

The popular cartoon icon has accumulated an impressive resume over the past 75 years.

Bugs has appeared in many Looney Tunes episodes and co-starred next to Michael Jordan in “Space Jam.”

The sly, comedic and elusive cartoon rabbit was and is the face of Looney Tunes and has his own star on the Walk of Fame.

Six Flags Magic Mountain has dedicated a section of the theme park to Bugs called “Bug’s Bunny World.”

So Bugs, on your birthday go ahead and splurge on as many carrots as you want, you deserve it.
