NINE MOVIES STILL ISN’T ENOUGH

We can stop crying that our favorite Harry Potter characters said goodbye in 2011, and continue celebrating our love for Hogwarts through J.K. Rowling’s Fantastic Beasts.

This morning the teaser trailer for Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald left us all surprised to see Albus Dumbledore as a younger headmaster, although I’m going to miss that long white beard he rocked for so many years.

The Crimes of Grindelwald continues where the first Fantastic Beasts left off: the wizarding world just came to the realization that Graves (Colin Farrell) was actually the monstrous Grindelwald (Johnny Depp). The 2nd film in this 5-part series will explore the dark wizard’s attempt to create an army of young “pure-bloods” to rule over the non-magical beings world. Magizoologist Newt Scamander (Eddie Redmayne) joins forces with young Albus Dumbledore (Jude Law) to prevent the devious Gellert Grindelwald from his evil mission.

Just to show how evil this Grindelwald character is, he was named the second most dangerous wizard of all time – second to Lord Voldemort (this is according to Rita Skeeter’s book, The Life and Lies of Albus Dumbledore). J.K. Rowling said that Dumbledore was in love with Grindelwald, but this film won’t explore their relationship.

Get your wands ready because The Crimes of Grindelwald will be released on Nov. 16th
