Owning a Disneyland annual pass, just granted holders an extra perk.
For the past 27 years the Childrenâ€™s Hospital of Orange County has raised over $30 million; for research, supportive care, services and education through their Walk in The Park fundraiser. Aimed at helping children undergoing treatments and their families.
For years the Childrenâ€™s Hospital of Orange County has provided the best care available to children in the community. It is with community support, that helps ensure that every childâ€™s need is met with the best medical care, regardless of their familyâ€™s ability to pay.
Last year the CHOC walk team raised $102,000; this year the goal is to raise $115,00.
Only active annual pass holders to the parks are eligible to enroll for the CHOC fundraiser walk. However, once enrolled they may add none pass holder members to their walk team. So long as each member meets the participation requirements. A minimum of $85 donation must be raised by each member in order to participate in the park walk.
Once joining the CHOC walk team, members are eligible of earning one of three incentives. Those who raise $120 or more will receive a special 2017 Annual Passholder CHOC walk pin. Those who raise at least $250 will receive a special 2017 CHOC walk blanket and any annual passholder who raises the most funds and is a us resident and at least 21 years of age. Will receive a complimentary one night stay in any Disneyland Resort Hotel, along with a 6-hour VIP tour of the resort for he/she and 3 friends. As well as a 1-Day park hopper ticket for any guest who is not a passholder.
This 5K fundraiser walk through both parks and downtown Disney. Will give people a chance to share stories, share memorable photo opportunities as cherished Disney friends cheer you on. Once crossing the finish line, the celebration continues in the Downtown area, where event sponsors, shops and restaurants will be waiting for you with special offers.
