Chris Noth Returns As ‘Mr. Big’ for The Sex And The City Reboot

Mr Big is back! Chris Noth will reprise his iconic role in the Max Original, And Just Like That. A continuation to the hit show Sex and the City.

“I’m thrilled to be working with Chris again on ‘And Just Like That…’ says executive producer Michael Patrick King. “How could we ever do a new chapter of the ‘Sex And The City’ story without our Mr. Big?”

In this new chapter of the groundbreaking HBO series Sex and the City. Carrie (Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) and Charlotte”(Kristin Davis) try to navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life and friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.

Noth is a two-time Golden Globe nominee and SAG Award nominated actor, whose first love is the stage. A graduate from the YALE School of Drama, he has appeared in numerous plays both on and off Broadway. Noth earned his first Golden Globe nomination for Best Actor in a Comedy playing the unattainable bachelor who gradually evolves into the love of Carrie Bradshaw’s life. “Mr. Big” became a central point for the Carrie character and the series as a whole, with their tumultuous storyline launching two blockbuster movies “Sex and the City” and “Sex and the City 2,” in which he also starred.

Written by Michael Patrick King, Samantha Irby, Rachna Fruchbom, Keli Goff, Julie Rottenberg and Elisa Zuritsky. With Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristen Davis, Cynthia Nixon, John Melfi, King, Rottenberg and Zuritsky serving as executive producers. Noth joins Parker, Nixon, Davis and newly announced actor Sara Ramírez.

The ten-episode, half-hour series is scheduled to begin production in New York this summer.
