CONCACAF Announces Final Changes to Rosters for Knockout Rounds of Gold Cup 2015

Gold Cup 2015 logo-vector-720x340MIAMI, FL – The Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football (CONCACAF) today announced final roster changes for the eight teams participating in qualified to the quarterfinals of the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2015.

In line with the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2015 Regulations, teams are permitted to replace up to six players on their rosters following the group stage, as long as these players come from the original 35-player rosters submitted last month.

The final changes submitted and approved by CONCACAF are:

Costa Rica
Player Out: #4 Michael Umaña (Persepolis FC/Iran)
Player In: #24 Kendall Watson (Vancouver Whitecaps/Canada)

Haiti*
Player Out: #10 Jeff Louis (Standard de Liege/Belgium)
Player In: #24 Junior Monuma (Don Bosco/Haiti)

Player Out: #5 Jean Jacques Pierre (SCO Angers/France)
*Haiti removed two players and added one

Jamaica
Player Out: #5 Alvas Powell (Portland Timbers/United States)
Player In: #25 Sean McFarlane (Florida International University/United States)

Player Out: # 21 Jermaine Taylor (Houston Dynamo/United States)
Player In: #24 Omar Holness (University of North Carolina/United States)

USA
Player Out: #7 Alfredo Morales (FC Ingolstadt/Germany)
Player In: #24 Joe Corona (Veracruz/Mexico)

Player Out: #14 Greg Garza (Atlas/Mexico)

The quarterfinals of the CONCACAF Gold Cup kick off on Saturday, July 18, in Baltimore, followed by a second double header on Sunday, July 19, in East Rutherford, New Jersey.
