The Music Spotlight Series continued at Universal CityWalk Hollywood on July 24th, but this time the boots were kicking and the guitar was strumming alongside the violin on the “5 Towers” stage; with performances by country duo American Young and country star Jana Kramer.
The free concert opened with American Young, a duo composed up country music veterans Jon Stone and Kristy Osmunson. The duo performed a solid set with sweet, soft melodies that told intricate stories. The collaboration between the two artists fit perfectly both vocally and instrumentally. Osmunson and Stone brought energy to the stage through their rapid and intense playing of  the violin and guitar, that definitely grabbed the attention of the crowd.
The night ended with actress turned country singer Jana Kramer. As soon as Kramer hit the stage, a different kind of energy hit the stage and marked the beginning of an exciting night for country fans. Although, there were some technical difficulties with sound, Kramer kept the show going and her fans continued to show their appreciation. She performed some of her hits from her self-titled album Jana Kramer, such as “One of the Boys,” and her newest hit single “Love.”
In her interview with M.U.S.E, Kramer discusses how music and singing was her dream as a child and how she ended up as an actress instead, but later returned to her childhood dream of making music.
