Danity Kane Opens Universal CityWalk’s Music Spotlight Series At 5 Towers

Female pop group Danity Kane and rising pop singer Moxie Raia kicked off Universal CityWalk’s “Music Spotlight Series” at “5 Towers”.  Universal is hosting free live entertainment from July 10th through August 31st.

The show was opened by upcoming pop singer Moxie Raia, who performed her new single “Buffalo Bill,” the song’s catchy lyrics, has already caught the attention of fans and EDM master DJ, Tiesto, who did a remix of it. Moxie is scheduled to release her first album later this year.

Danity Kane performed some of their hit songs including “Show Stopper” and their newest hit song “Lemonade.”

Danity Kane was formed in 2005 under the wing of P. Diddy, on MTV’s “Making the Band.” They became a female sensation when their first two albums reached the #1 spot on the Billboard Top 200. But after four years together, the group broke up in 2009. It wasn’t until the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards that Danity Kane would announce their reunion. However, the original five girl line up came to an end and only Aubrey O’Day, Shannon Bex and Dawn Richard continue to be apart of Danity Kane.

Danity Kane has announced that they are working on a new album but have not given a release date.

The “5 Towers” stage at Universal CityWalk has hosted past performances by Justin Bieber, Ceelo Green, Jason Derulo, Carley Rae Jepson, Ludacris, Wiz Khalifia, 2 Chainz , John Legend, Tyrese Gibson, and Good Charlotte.
