Death Cab for Cutie To Tour With Full Orchestra in 2012

Death Cab for Cutie will be starting a world tour next month in support of the latest album “Codes and Keys”. What will make this tour different from what you have seen before is that they are bringing along with them a full orchestral group. The orchestra that will  accompany the band will be Magik Orchestra. A few members of the group performed with the band on the latest album.

The tour will begin on February 17 in Australia but will be in the Los Angeles area on May 7 at the Walt Disney Concert Hall. Fan club members will be able to purchase tickets in advance now on Death Cab’s website. Tickets go on sale to the general public on January 27.
