Recognized for their soulful rock ballads, the Latin Grammy winners Diamante Eléctrico are finally getting back on stage this summer. They will first be stopping by the Ruido Fest beginning August 22 in Chicago. The band will then continue onto their tour with 16 shows, including special guest appearances alongside Café Tacvba. In their tour, fans will get to enjoy the highly anticipated Deluxe album titled, “Mira Lo Que Me Hiciste Hacer.” Diamante Eléctrico Tour dates can be found below.
The band maintains to be celebrated as they entered summer led by Juan Galeano and Daniel Álvarez with the anticipation of getting their rock on, with their unique and spirited music style with a touch of Diamante Eléctrico as they kept the music running nearly a decade-long. “Mira Lo Que Me Hiciste Hacer,” also known as “MLQMHH,” will be another great hit by the band.
Being inspired by funk, “MLQMHH” is groovy and pop-infused as it sheds light on the amazing collection of work as it embraces rock with an ‘80s style flowing throughout the album, including new versions for Tears For Fears track, “Everybody Wants To Rule The World.”
Like many artists, the global pandemic has shaped the group’s timeline and their original plans, leading to new perspectives and reflecting during these difficult times. The band is almost celebrating their 10 years of music and Álvarez describes their latest work as “a communion between what we like to play and what we like to hear … an album that we will listen to non-stop.”
Pivoting a far-reaching scope, the Deluxe edition was inspired by their loyal fans. Besides their new release, they reached two sold-out shows in Bogotá, which was part of seeing their growth in music and as a band aside from being part of the group’s hometowns.
