Disneyland in Anaheim, CA raises admission to $92 for a one day admission

The Magic Kingdom that was once a place for families from the local area and around the world are going to be getting a shock at the ticket office as admission to the theme parks at the Disneyland Resort went from $87 to $92 for one park Sunday. The increases went across the board to all admission packages for the park. Now the highest level of Annual Pass for the resort Premium went up $20 to $669 per year.

Admission was not the only thing that went up in price the parking also went up. Parking went up $1 to $16 at all parking locations. In comparison to other theme parks in Southern California Universal Studios Hollywood is $80 for a single day with their top of the line annual pass with no blackout dates at $149.

Knott’s Berry Farm which just saw the opening of three new attractions and the re-opening of Timber Mountain Log Ride has a single day admission of $59.99 and the top end annual pass at $104. Knott’s does offer many tickets online at the park site that lowers the price even more. Six Flags Magic Mountain which has a new coaster opening soon, Full Throttle, has a single day admission of $64.99 at the box office and an annual pass $74.99.

The question is will the Disneyland admission increase make you think twice about going to the park. A family of two adult and two children will now be spending $372 before even entering the gate. Disneyland did not add new attraction this year and has nothing planned for another two to three years. Which I can guarantee the price will increase a couple times before then. What are your thought on the price increase at the Disneyland Resort. Please leave your comments. Will you be thinking twice about visiting the park in the future.
