Disneyland’s Fantasy Faire Fantasyland Expansion To Open March 12

Disneyland Fantasy FaireThe Disneyland Resort has undergone a lot of changes in the last five years and now Disneyland will be getting a brand new expansion to Fantasyland called, Fantasy Faire. The new area will be a meet-and-great area dedicated to the princesses of the Disney film series.

The boundaries of Fantasyland are expanding! Right next to Sleeping Beauty Castle, the Carnations Plaza Gardens Stage is being reimagined into an enchanting village where the stories of Disney’s fairy tale heroes and heroines are brought to life and includes:

The Royal Hall

One of the main attractions in this quaint storybook village is the Royal Hall, where beloved Disney Characters eagerly await your visit. Meet them inside this truly special place, filled with rich layers of detail: a beautiful gothic interior with wondrous wallpaper, handsome wood finishes and breathtaking chandeliers.

The Royal Theatre with 2 New Shows

Other princesses are performing in our theatre, a beautiful gothic tent structure with a stunning new entrance, portals and beautiful gothic banners and shields. Enjoy 2 unique shows — one with Belle from Beauty and the Beast, and the other with Flynn and Rapunzel from Tangled.

Shops and Dining

Discover all kinds of princess dresses and gifts at the charming Fairytale Treasures. And stop by Maurice’s Treats, a little food invention wagon where Belle’s father offers a signature drink and savory and sweet twisted bread sticks.

Fantasy Faire will open to the public on March 12 but you can currently view some of the art and models that went into creating this new experience for its guest at Disney California Adventure Blue Sky Cellar.
