HBO Max has renewed the hit comedic thriller “The Flight Attendant” starring Kaley Cuoco for a second season, as announced by Casey Bloys, Chief Content Officer of HBO and HBO Max.

The first season which ended on December 17th, followed flight attendant Casey Bowden (Kaley Cuoco), as she tried to piece together what happened to her flight passenger Alex (Michiel Huisman), after waking up next to his dead body with no memories of the night before. While the mystery of why and who killed Alex was solved. The finale left a few questions that are yet to be answered.

What exactly happened between Miranda and Felix in the elevator and how did she manage to survive? Is she really alive?

Will Buckley – who was really Felix – seek revenge on Casey after surviving the gunshots?

What did Megan mean when she said she was going to “trust” the right people? Is her life in danger? Will her husband take the fall for her espionage?

With Annie now unemployed will she and – her cyberhacking boyfriend Max – open their own law firm?

Will Casey take Shane up on his offer to join the CIA?

Season one was based on the novel of the same name by New York Times bestselling author Chris Bohjalian and told the story of how an entire life can change in one night. No details have been given on what the plot could be for season two but many are excited to see the stories of these characters continue.

The first season saw week over week growth and ranked as HBO Max’s #1 series overall during its run. Variety hailed the series as “a glossy, twisty, energetic murder mystery,” Hollywood Reporter called it “a star turn” for Cuoco, with Entertainment Weekly praising Cuoco’s performance as “phenomenal” and Vulture calling it “a pitch-perfect combination of high-energy franticness and real emotional insight.”
