Foo Fighters Rick Roll’d Westboro Baptist Church In Kansas City

Foo Fighters Rick RollFoo Fighters prior to their show at the Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO did it again Friday night. This time the band Rick Roll’d the Westboro Baptist Church who were protesting their show.

What the guys did was drive in a pick up truck playing loudly the Rick Astley song, ““Never Going To Give You Up” as they passed by the protestor.

The term Rick Roll is (to clarify just in case you have never heard the term), the victim of an anonymous web link (sent by chat or email) that links to a video of “Never Gonna’ Give You Up” sung by 80’s pop star Rick Astley.

This is not the first time that Foo Fighters have done something like this towards the Westboro Baptist Church. In 2012 in Kansas City as well the band drove down the street on a flatbed truck playing the song, ‘Keep It Clean’. In both situations fans gathered around and drowned out the protesters.
