It’s the one where they get back together! The long awaited special for the beloved 90’s sitcom, Friends, finally has a release date – and it can’t come any sooner! On Thursday, May 27th, the one-year anniversary of HBO Max’s launch, the streaming service with debut Friends: The Reunion special.

Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry and David Schwimer return to the original soundstage, Stage 24, on the Warner Bros Studio lot to reprise their roles for a real-life unscripted celebration of the show.

Friends remains on the most beloved series in the history of television. It was the highest-rated show during its original run and has since become the no.1 syndicated show on streaming services. Throughout its 10-season run the show launched to stardom its talented cast and earned endless praises and accolades.

Leading up to the big reunion, TBS will be airing Friends: From The Beginning, a marathon, starting May 10th to June 4th. An entire month where you can catch-up on your favorite-episodes before the reunion special on May 27th and even after.

While fans are eager to see the cast return to the icon stage, they will also be treated to a variety of special guests, like David Beckham, Justin Bieber, BTS, James Corden, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Lady Gaga, Elliott Gould, Kit Harington, Larry Hankin, Mindy Kaling, Thomas Lennon, Christina Pickles, Tom Selleck, James Michael Tyler, Maggie Wheeler, Reese Witherspoon and Malala Yousafzai.

David Crane, Kevin Bright and Marta Kauffman who executive produced the series, return as executive producers for the special alongside Ben Winston who directed.

Friends: The Reunion will air Thursday May 27th on HBO Max.
