Henry Golding will receive this year’s CinemaCon “Male Star of Tomorrow Award.” Golding made his first big screen appearance in the super successful Crazy Rich Asians. He’s now starred in other roles such as “A Simple Favor” and the upcoming “Last Christmas.”
“In just a little over a year, Henry Golding has proven that he has what it takes to be a leading man on the big screen,” said Mitch Neuhauser, Managing Director of CinemaCon.
Golding will be presented with this special honor at the “CinemaCon Big Screen Achievement Awards” taking place April 4th at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The Coca-Cola Company will be the official presenting sponsor of CinemaCon.
From playing a Vietnamese gangster to being cast in a romantic holiday movie, Golding is set to star in three more movies this coming year.
This past year, Golding became the first Asian actor to be featured on the cover of GQ’s Man of the Year. He made Variety’s 10 Actor’s to Watch and was featured on the cover of Vanity Fair’s Hollywood issue.
