SeaWorld opened Howl-O-Scream this past Friday for the parks very first ticketed Halloween event in the fifty-seven year history of the theme park.
Your initial entry into the event leads you to First Fright which depending on the direction you go will lead to the Underground Dance Club where you will discover a passionate, bopping DJ, who is there to submerge you into a nightlife atmosphere. This area was designated as the kickoff spot where you will take a sneak peek into what is in store for your night, with a theatrical introduction commencing at seven o’clock each evening.
If you are interested in being immersed into the worlds created to indulge you in their surroundings, then it is highly recommended that you take a stroll through the scare zones!
Favorite Scare Zone: A favorite realm of mine would be Deadly Toys, where you will encounter young girls who are simply thrilled to show you their dollies, and toys… or ask you where their mommy is.
For those who are interested in triggering their fears via all-things-jump scare: chainsaws, screams, slams, cries, and mystifying special effects- then be sure to incorporate the haunted houses into your evening agenda!
Favorite Haunted House: Nightmare Experiment begins your journey with “checking in” with the doctor who is in charge of the patients in the institute. This haunted house in particular, is eerily unique because of the vast array of suffering patients you encounter throughout your journey in this attraction.
Shows and rides are offered as well for those who are looking to be entertained and take in the collective atmosphere. There really are tricks and treats for all who come to SeaWorld’s Howl-O-Scream event. Whether you are looking to be frightened, or simply have a joyful time while enjoying the fall season- there is plenty to do and so much to see at Howl-O-Scream!
