I had the great opportunity to talk with the man behind the Vans Warped Tour Southern California’s own Kevin Lyman.

Lyman, who graduated from Cal Poly Pomona and is the founder of 4Fini, the production company behind so many great festivals as Taste of Chaos and last years It’s Not Dead Festival is looking forward to the hometown show in Pomona. The Vans Warped Tour has played to over 9 million fans over the 21 years and every year the tour seems to grow. Allowing opportunities for new bands and non-profits to really shine.

The tour is currently in the midwest and will make its’ first stop in Southern California next Friday, August 5 in San Diego. This years lineup features the most diverse group of music in the last couple years such as Reel Big Fish, Less than Jake, Sum 41, Waka Flocka Flame and newer bands such as Waterparks and more. The Pomona stop of the 2016 Vans Warped Tour is August 7 at the Fairplex in Pomona.
