IT exclusive art unveiled at Comic-Con

Fears come to life and yet more are still to derive.

Comic-Con goers got a sense of the chills in New Line Cinema’s film “IT” with exclusive art unveiled this weekend at the convention.

Reimagining the Stephen King novel, “IT” tells the tale of a group of kids (Jaeden Liberher, “Midnight Special”; Jeremy Ray Taylor, “Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip”; Sophia Lillis, “37”; Finn Wolfhard, “Stranger Things”; Wyatt Oleff, “Guardians of the Galaxy”; Chosen Jacobs, “Cops and Robbers”; Jack Dylan Grazer, “Tales of Halloween” and Nicholas Hamilton, “Captain Fantastic”)  who take on their fears when up against the murdering clown Pennywise (Bill Skarsgård, “Hemlock Grove”) after other children begin disappearing in their hometown of Derry, Maine.

Much like the various covers for the 80s horror novel, the Comic-Con art keeps it classic with blood-stained red lettering with black and white undertones with the famous line “You’ll Float Too” in the forefront, sealed with the iconic “IT” red balloon image.

As if seeing the new art was not enough, those who dared even had a chance to experience their fears on while aboard the Derry school bus at the “Float” VR San Diego Comic-Con interactive zone. Times for the “IT” Cinematic Experience can be found here.

“IT” is guttering its way to theaters on September 8.
