Last Sunday, J Balvin joined Camila Cabello, Young Thug, Ricky Martin & Arturo Sandoval in “Building Bridges, Not Walls.” During a widely praised Latin cultural celebration that opened this year’s Grammy broadcast.

The award show marked Balvins first Grammy nomination for his collaboration song, “I Like It” featuring Rapper, Cardi B. Back in November, the Reggaeton superstar was nominated for numerous awards at the Latin Grammys and even took home the award for ‘Best Urban Music Album’ for the career launching ‘VIBRAS.’ Now, the ‘Latin Billoard Music Awards’ is naming Balvin as a 13th time finalist. For honors such as ‘Artist of the Year’, ‘Album of the Year’, and ‘Hot Latin Song of the Year.’

Many of his nominations come from his hit song ‘X’ with fellow reggaetón singer Nicky Jam. The rest are in recognition of his album ‘Vibras.” That spun a successful world tour and inspired a clothing line with ‘Guess.’

He is also a 12x nominee for the 2019 ‘Premio Lo Nuestro’ airing on February 21st. He is also set to perform that night.

Coming up, look for J BALVIN to be Latin Music’s leading representative at upcoming major music festivals. Such as Coachella, where he will be performing on the main stage, April 13 & April 20. He is also set to perform at the famed New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival on April 28th and the EDM festival Tomorrowland. Where is he the first announced first Latin artist to do a full set.
