Last night, was J Balvin’s second show of his Vibras Tour in Oakland. Last night he kicked if off with swarm of fans in Fresno. Emerging onto the stage, singing his smash cultural cross-over hit “Matchika” alongside a huge dinosaur, which he has been featuring in his Instagram post as the tour launch date grew closer.

His chart-topping album, of the same name. Has gifted the reggaetón singer with numerous no.1 titles, has been talked about and sold out since its announcement a few months back.

Most recently, the biggest talk on J Balvin has been on his staggering lead at this year’s Latin American Music Awards. Being nominated for a total of nine awards, alongside fellow artist; Maluma, Becky G, Bad Bunny, Karol G and Nicky Jam. As well as his leading 8 nominations for this year’s Latin Grammys.

Many of these nominations are in recognition of his landmark “VIBRAS” album, and numerous additional collaborations that helped established him as one of the world’s top-streaming artists this summer. J Balvin’s 17 nominations (including Artist of the Year & Album of the Year) makes him co-leader of the field. Recently J Balvin also WON two MTV VMA’s and received an American Music Award (AMA) nomination, a People’s Choice Award nomination, and Three BET Hip-Hop Award nominations. Earlier this week, on the eve of his tours launch earlier this week, The Los Angeles Times selected his concert as their lead concert pick, in their Fall Music Preview.

In tandem with his U.S. tour dates and continuing his strong interest in fashion. J Balvin also just partnered with Guess to launch Guess Vibras; an exclusive capsule of collection of concert merchandise.

“My partnership with GUESS, a brand that has strong roots in the Latin community, not only aligns with my personal brand, but with my community and fanbase as well,” says J Balvin. “I am so excited to launch an exclusive collection of concert merch on tour and officially bring the vibe of our music to fashion.”

The collection launched on September 19th, the first day of the Vibras Tour and the merchandise will be sold at select GUESS stores near the concert locations.

“Working with Balvin we were able to tap into the energy of the ‘VIBRAS’ album, creating a special capsule transcending music into fashion,” says Nicolai Marciano, Director of Brand Partnerships. “The product inspiration and bold colors came from both the GUESS graphic archive and the ‘VIBRAS’ album artwork, finding alignment in both brands to offer something unique to the fans.”

These seven pieces, all inspired by his chart-topping Vibras album, as well as Balvins own personal style. Will be filled with vibrant colors, tie-die hoodies, T-shirts, color blocked denim, and the classic black and white long sleeve shirt that reads; “GUESS Vibras International Tour” across the back. Fans will also be able to get tour specific merchandise to get their concert feels going.

His next tour date is this Friday in San Diego and then its back to back shows at the Forum in Los Angeles. Don’t let time run out! Get your tickets now!
