It is footballs’ biggest night, with all eyes on the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida. As the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs, face each other for the title of Super Bowl Champions.

This is the first time the two teams have faced each other in the Super Bowl and also the first time, this NFL stage will have two Latin artists headline the halftime show.

Mega superstar Jennifer Lopez first announced back in September that the rumors were true, and she was going to be headlining the Super Bowl LIV Halftime show…along with beloved Columbian singer Shakira. Since that moment the anticipation has only continued to grow and grow, with fans excited to see these two powerhouse Latina women take the stage and represent a proud Latin community.

Miami is a city full of energy. It’s an important nest for the Latino community. – Shakira.

As we entered halftime, both teams were tie at 10 points each. Fireworks begin to go off as Shakira takes the stage, accompanied by female dancers in red sequence costumes. Opening the show with the English version of her 2009 studio album track “She Wolf.” Shakira alongside the other dancer perform in unison, a well-choreographed set that reminds us that this woman’s hips…really don’t lie.

The lights then dim down as Shakira along with a group of violinists, begins to perform “Empire” from her self-titled 2014 album. As she builds towards the chores, she performs a guitar solo before stepping aside to perform a belly dance to her track “Ojos Asi,” from her 1998 album.

She is then joined by her dancers again as she performs “Whatever,” while fireworks go off on the outside of the stadium, matching the tracks beat. She performs a special Rendition of “I Like It Like That” and is joined by Bad Bunny. The song is mixed with an upbeat version of her single “Chantaje,” which she did with Maluma. As she ends her solo set with her chart-topping song “Hips Don’t Lie, “ fireworks go off both giving her a grand final and a grand opening to Jennifer Lopez

Jennier Lopez emerges in a black leather utility bodysuit, on top of a mini Empire State building. Surrounded by dancers in black leather jackets and baker boy hats – a nod to the 90s fashion. She begins her set with her famous track “Jenny from the Block” and follows it up with “Aint it Funny.” She then performs “Get Right” now joined by male dancers performing with batons – just like in the music video.

The stage ambiance begins to change as female dancers take over the stage, techno lights are displayed and Lopez – now emerging in a silver sequence bodysuit. Hoists herself on a pole, much like she did in her critically acclaimed film, “Hustlers.” She sings a few bars “Waiting for Tonight” as it fades into J Balvins track with Major Lazer “Que Calor.”

He then takes over and beings to perform “Mi Gente” as Jennifer also beings to perform, “Love Don’t Cost A Thing.” Combining the two into an upbeat mash-up, as both take the stage. As J Balvin steps off the stage, Jennifer performs “On the Floor” from her-self titled album.

The lights dim and we see her daughter Emme being to sing and lead a choir of children in singing “Let’s Get Loud” with Shakira on the drums. Emme then joins her mother, who is now draped in a featherd Puerto Rican flag. Shakira then performs “Waka Waka”, which was the official song for the 2010 FIFI World Cup in Africa. She is then joined by Jennifer – now in a bodysuit with fringe to add flare. As the two dance their way to a close of tonight’s performance.
