Professional Wrestler Jon Huber best known by his wrestling persona Brodie Lee or Luke Harper passed away on Saturday, December 26 at the age of 41.

According to an instagram post by his wife Amanda Huber Lee passed away from a non-Covid related lung issue surrounded by loved ones.

Huber wrestled under a few different names in his career but was known for years under Brodie Lee in addition to Luke Harper as part of the Wyatt Family with Bray Wyatt in WWE from 2012 through his departure from the company in 2019.

Prior to his appearance in WWE appearance Huber wrestled with Squared Circle Wrestling (2CW), Ring of Honor (ROH), Dragon Gate USA (DGUSA), and internationally for Dragon Gate in Japan.

His career was really taking off in All Elite Wrestling since his first appearance earlier this year in March. He come into the still young organization as the leader of “The Exalted One” of the faction, Dark Order. On August 22 he would win his first title in the organization becoming the TNT Champion in August.

Tony Khan, the President/CEO/GM of AEW said on twitter, “I’m devastated by the loss of Jon Huber, known to fans as Mr. Brodie Lee, formerly Luke Harper. Jon was a great man. His family came first, his loving wife Amanda & their sons Brodie + Nolan. He loved wrestling & was great at it, he loved you fans. Please keep him in your hearts.”

Stephanie McMahon, WWE Chief Brand Officer said on twitter, “I’m so deeply sorry for the loss of Jon Huber. We bonded over the love of our children. He was a true family man. #RIPBrodieLee.”
