The second special episode of the Emmy winning HBO drama Euphoria will have an early premiere January 22 at 9pm on HBO Max.
Directed by show creator Sam Levinson, the episode titles “F*ck Anyone Who’s Not A Sea Blob,” follows Jules over the Christmas holiday as she reflects on the past year. Hunter Schafer, who plays Jules, serves as co-executive producer on the second special episode, which she also co-wrote with Levinson.
This episode as well was produced under COVID-19 guidelines.
The first special episode, “Trouble Don’t Last Always,” debuted December 6 on HBO and had an early streaming premiere on HBO Max starting December 4. According to Nielsen Social, It was the #1 most social program on premium cable throughout that weekend.
Last award season the series received three Primetime Emmy nominations for the year, including Outstanding Lead Actress In A Drama Series which was won by Zendaya. As well as Outstanding Contemporary Makeup (Non-Prosthetic) and Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics.
