Kaskade Summer LovinIt’s a good time to be Kaskade. Just a few days after he was named “America’s Best DJ” by DJ Times magazine and Pioneer DJ for the second time – marking the first time any DJ has won the 8th annual award twice – the GRAMMY-nominated DJ and producer kicked off his “Atmosphere” Tour on Saturday, September 14 in Miami with a surprise guest performance from Skylar Grey and rave reviews from fans and critics alike.

This comes on the heels of the release of his highly anticipated eighth studio album Atmosphere, which was released on September 10 and debuted at #1 on the Billboard Dance/Electronic Albums chart and the iTunes Dance chart, and is now getting a new remix touch in a package for his chart-topping “Atmosphere” single that’s now available on iTunes and all other digital retailers via Ultra Music.

In addition to tour openers Amtrac and Late Night Alumni, Kaskade will be joined by acclaimed singer/songwriter Skylar Grey throughout the tour as she will take the stage to perform their hit collaboration “Room for Happiness” from Kaskade’s GRAMMY-nominated Fire and Ice album. Her surprise appearance at the first stop in Miami proved to be among the show’s highlights and will continue to be throughout the tour. In addition to Grey performing, Kaskade also sang the single “Atmosphere” live for the first time in Miami, and will do so for the rest of the tour.

Ryan Raddon, known as Kaskade, is a GRAMMY-nominated DJ, producer and songwriter who has been in the trenches of the electronic dance music (EDM) scene as an original recording artist and in-demand DJ for more than a decade. He marked an industry milestone by selling out Los Angeles’ STAPLES Center after already earning the distinction of being the first Electronic Dance Artist to ever solo-headline the venue during the biggest North American tour of his career last year, the Freaks of Nature Tour. He has released eight studio albums, including his recently released Atmosphere, earned a GRAMMY nomination for his 2011 release Fire & Ice, scored twelve Top 10 hits on Billboard’s Hot Dance Airplay Chart, created chart-topping remixes for everyone from Lady Gaga to Beyonce, appeared at all the major summer music festivals, and has performed between 150 and 200 headlining shows a year for the last 10 years, building a name for himself as an innovator of the EDM scene as we know it today.
