KCON USA the world’s largest Korean culture convention and music festival, announced today that the final six artists to join the Los Angeles concert lineup are ITZY, SEVENTEEN, SF9, LOONA, N.Flying and fromis_9. These six artists join the previously announced Stray Kids, MAMAMOO, MOMOLAND, ONEUS, ATEEZ, CHUNG HA, NU’EST, AB6IX, EVERGLOW, VERIVERY and IZ*ONE. Concert tickets go on sale July 12th at 12:00pm PT while convention tickets (including add-on programs) go on-sale July 15th at 12:00pm PT. 

KCON, which is held in both New York and Los Angeles, is an annual celebration of every aspect of Korean pop culture and provides fans the most access to the stars. This marks the first time that KCON LA will run for four full days to ensure the maximum amount of programming, fan engagements and everything that attendees expect from the yearly celebration of Korean pop culture. The West Coast leg of the convention series will take place August 15th through the 18th at the Los Angeles Convention Center and Staples Center. KCON LA tickets will be available starting July 12th. ITZY is a South Korean girl group formed by JYP Entertainment, consisting of members Yeji, Lia, Ryujin, Chaeryeong, and Yuna. The group debuted on February 12, 2019, with the release of their single album, It’z Different with its lead single “DALLA DALLA.” The song incorporates elements from EDM subgenres, such as future house and bass house. Its empowering lyrics have been well received by the audience. On February 21, nine days after their debut, Itzy received their first music show win on M COUNTDOWN and became the fastest girl group to achieve their first music show win.

SEVENTEEN is a 13-member boy group that debuted under Pledis Entertainment on May 26, 2015. The members are S.COUPS, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, WOOZI, The 8, Mingyu, DK, SeungKwan, Vernon, and Dino. They stepped into the K-Pop industry as “super rookies” with their 1st Mini Album, <17 Carat>. The group earned the title of “self-producing idols.” As the group entered their 5th year since debut, SEVENTEEN released their 6th Mini Album, <YOU MADE MY DAWN> and set their own record. The group also became the first K-pop artist to top the Japanese Oricon Weekly Combined Album Chart. They’ve also won the hearts of many fans with the title track, “Home.”

SF9 is a boy group formed by FNC Entertainment and the company’s first dance boy group. The group consists of nine members: Young Bin, In Seong, Jae Yoon, Da Won, Ro Woon, Zu Ho, Tae Yang, Hwi Young, and Cha Ni. The group name stands for Sensational Feeling 9. They debuted on October 5, 2016 with their first single album <Feeling Sensation>. Their first mini album <Burning Sensation> was released on February 6 and landed at no.6 on the Billboard’s World Albums Chart. Their second mini album <Breaking Sensation> was released on April 18 and landed No.5 on Billboard’s World Albums Chart. SF9 then released their fourth and fifth EP, <MAMMA MIA!> and <Sensuous>, later in 2018. On February 20, 2019, the group made another comeback with their 6th mini album <NARCISSUS> with title track “Enough,” once again landing themselves another hit on Billboard’s World Albums Chart. On June 17, 2019, the group made a comeback with their 7th mini album <RPM>.

LOONA is a twelve-member girl group formed by Blockberry Creative. The twelve members were revealed one-by-one each month since October 2016. The group has formed three sub-units: Loona 1/3, Loona Odd Eye Circle, and Loona yyxy. The members are HeeJin, HyunJin, HaSeul, YeoJin, ViVi, Kim Lip, JinSoul, Choerry, Yves, Chuu, Go Won, Olivia Hye. On August 7, 2018, Loona released “favOriTe” as the lead single from [+ +], their debut EP as a full group. The EP was released on August 20, 2018 along with the second single, “Hi High”. [+ +] was repackaged as [X X] on February 19, 2019, with six additional tracks, including a new single, “Butterfly”. On May 31, 2019, LOONA excited fans with the release of a teaser video “La Maison LOONA,” hinting at a comeback with ballad tracks.

N.Flying is a band formed by FNC Entertainment in 2013. The band currently consists of four members: Seunghyub, Hun, Jaehyun, and Hweseung. On October 1, they released their first indie single album titled Basket and performed as the opening act at F.T. Island’s “Replay” Zepp tour. The band made their Korean debut on May 20, 2015 with a single album and its lead single “Awesome.” Former Produce 101 Season 2 contestant Yoo Hweseung joined the group with the release of their second mini album THE REAL: N.Flying and the title track “The Real.” On January 2, 2019, N.Flying made a comeback as a four-member band with title track “Rooftop.” “Rooftop” slowly gained popularity then went on to hit number one on all major Korean music charts and topped Gaon’s weekly digital chart for two consecutive weeks and its monthly digital chart for March. On April 24, 2019, N.Flying made a comeback with EP Spring Memories and title track of the same name. 

fromis_9, an initialism for “From Idol School,” is a nine-member girl group formed through Mnet’s reality show “Idol School” in 2017, which ran from July 13 to September 29. As a result of live and online voting, Roh Ji Sun, Song Ha Young, Lee Sae Rom, Lee Chae Young, Lee Na Gyung, Park Ji Won, Lee Seo Yeon, Baek Ji Heon and Jang Gyu Ri secured spots in the final ranking and formed fromis_9 on the same day. Before their official debut, the group performed their pre-debut single “Glass Shoes” at the 2017 Mnet Asian Music Awards in Japan. The group officially debuted on January 24, 2018 with their first EP <To. Heart> along with their lead single “To Heart.” In June 2019, the group released their first single album, <FUN FACTORY> on June 4, 2019. The title track, “FUN!” is loved by the public for its addictive hook and fromis_9’s unique pure energy.
