KCONTACT is the world’s largest virtual K-pop festival, and it is returning for its fifth season. It will be held for nine consecutive days starting on September 18th through the 26th.

CJ ENM has put together multiple programs in which fans can globally interact amongst each other and their favorite artists even though they will not be physically together.

Interactive elements have been included, such as ‘personal talk’ and ‘live chat’ experiences with the artists. The purpose is to capture the hearts of K-POP fans from around the world.

Artists from the precious lineup include BTOB, Ciipher, ENHYPEN, GHOST9, MAMAMOO, ONF, and PURPLE KISS.

KCONTACT HI 5 will be available to stream on KCON and Mnet K-POP official YouTube channels. It will also be exclusively streamed on TVING in South Korea.

KCON USA is the largest fan festival in North America celebrating Korean culture and music. The convention launched in 2012 with over 10,000 fans attending and has more than doubled annually since, now reaching over 158,000 fans.

KCON is now established in Los Angeles as the annual flagship event for American fans of Hallyu and Asian pop culture, providing the largest forum for fans to directly connect with each other, as well as artists and professionals from the Korean entertainment industry.

In 2017, the brand further expanded internationally, presenting KCON in Mexico and Australia and also returning to Japan. KCON has also held events in France, UAE and Thailand.
