Knott’s Berry Farm commemorates its 100-year anniversary with a full grand re-opening to the general public starting May 21.

This Summer, Knotts Berry Farm is paying a tribute to the family history of the park and allowing fans to come together to relive their favorite Knott’s memories.

While also creating exciting new memories, the park is opening the re-imagined new “Knott’s Bear-y Tales: Return to the Fair” ride in celebration of the classic attraction from the 70s and 80s.

With re-theming Voyage to the Iron Reef to Knott’s Bear-y Tales: Return to the Fair, fun for  families and friends will welcome this once-in-a-lifetime anniversary celebration to all.

Guests will be submerged in a park featuring festive decorations, themed food items, quirky entertainment, exclusive merchandise, and other special surprises along the way.

The “Knott’s Berry Tales: Return to the Fair” all-new 4-D interactive dark ride will take guests on a thrilling journey through the pure reanimated show scenes from the original dark ride. Some of the original works include the Boysenberry Pie Factory, Frog Forest, Fortune Teller Camp, Thunder Cave, and Weird Woods to honor the native county fair.

The story continues on 34 years after the original adventure and treads on the heels of Boysen Bear and Girlsen Bear as they take a trip to the Country Fair to earn the blue ribbon prize for their renowned boysenberry pies. However, Crafty Coyote is back along with his troublesome pups to steal all the boysenberry pies for themselves.

Guests will climb aboard ride vehicles supplied with jelly blasters to try and save the stolen pies as they travel through nostalgic and fun-loving environments while being able to compete for the highest score.
