Knott’s Spooky Farm Brings Halloween Fun For The Family

Knott’s Spooky Farm welcomes children of all ages and their families every weekend to take part in the park’s Halloween spirit. Every weekend for the month of October, children will be able to visit the park dressed in their costumes and enjoy some of the special events that Knott’s has prepared for them. Among some of the events that the park will host are a masquerade ball, costume contest, a maze, among others.

At the Monster Masquerade Ball Karaoke will children be able to decorate their own masquerade masks and become part of a dance party. Children are able to let their creativity run free as they decide how to individualize their look. Snoopy and some of the park’s characters also make an appearances and join in on the fun.

Snoopy’s Costume Contest and Dance Party is perhaps the event that every child in the park awaits for all day. Everyone is able to showcase their costume as they walk across the stage. Although it is the children who get to dress up and showcase their costume, parents are also able to enjoy the show. The costume contest’s host, a wacky scientist, adds a bit of fun to the mix with his commentary.

12000049_911357598913467_73362797_nGhost Town Trick or Treating is another of the fun activities that take place during Knott’s Spooky Farm in which children are able to walk through Ghost Town and collect candy from of the ghostly residents. Children are also able to take pictures with some of these residents, including the town’s Sherriff.

Creepy Crawler Cabin is where children will be able to interact with critters. Children of all ages will be able to work alongside Knott’s Park Naturalists. They will be able to experience the slithery, slimy, and creepy crawlers.

The Spooky Hollow Maze allows children to walk to through a maze without being frighten, where there are also plenty of photo opportunities. At the end of the maze children are also given the opportunity to decorate their own jack-o-lantern with markers, which they are free to take home with them.

Knott’s Spooky Farm continues through weekends in the month of October, doors open 10 a.m. and close at 5:30 p.m.
