You may have heard of Disney California Adventure Park’s upcoming remodel; there are tons of new attractions. The newest hot spot announced is the Lamplight Lounge, a seaside gathering place located at the entrance of Pixar Pier.

Lamplight Lounge will be a casual, yet elegant gastro-pub with California cuisine and a full bar. Lobster Nachos, which are famous at California Adventure theme park will be served as well. At night, guest will be provided outdoor seating with views of the popular “World of Color” show.

The lounge replaces an old warehouse factor, but still keeping many features of the original building. The wooden boards from the factory are being renovated with new ceiling panels and floors, giving the restaurant an open and bright feel.

The most exciting part of the new attraction, in my opinion, are the artistic marks that guest will be able to leave. Pixar fans: this is your moment to leave a quick sketch on a napkin of your favorite character, collect toys and different knick-knacks, all while enjoying a meal.

Experience the keepsakes and bites of Lamplight Lounge this summer, when it opens with Pixar Pier on June 23. Disney goers can visit Ariel’s Grotto and Cove Bar for the last time before it finally closes in May.
