Lil Yachty To Release Upcoming ‘Lil Boat 2’ Album

We are one day away from the release of Lil Yachty aka the king of youth Lil Boat 2 album.

After two years since the release of his debut mixtape, Lil Boat and one year since his debut studio album Teenage Emotions in may of last year.

He will be giving us a continuation album from Lil Boat.

The initial release date for Lil Boat 2 was in December 2017 but got delayed.

Lil Yachty wrote “Lil Boat 2 is done kid” in the comments on Instagram live back in January 2018

On February 21, Lil Yachty shared his album cover for his upcoming project.

The album cover shows the rapper standing in water shirtless.

 

On March 5, Lil Yachty released his tracklist with features from artists like Migos, PnB Rock, Tripple Redd, Lil Baby, Lil Pump and XXL Class of 2017 Freshman Ugly God and others.

When Lil Yachty’s released his debut studio album cover, it featured him and a diverse group of teenagers in a movie theater.

The Teenage Emotions album came with a 21 song tracklist, and features from artist like Yg, Kamaiyah, Diplo, and others.

Making it the most tracks he has released on any single project as an artist to date.

His mixtape Summer songs have 14 tracks, and Lil Boat has 13, and now Lil Boat 2 has 17.

The king of youth mentioned that music isn’t his greatest passion in life but suggested that music is a means to an end.

Lil Yachty leans toward having more fun on a record than anything else.  

In addition to his Lil Boat 2 release, Lil Yachty and Offset will be releasing a joint album as well.

“I have been quiet, just finishing my shit up. That was me and Takeoff, by the way. Me and Takeoff’s project coming real soon,” he said on Instagram after previewing a new song.
