Listen Up: The Linda Lindas Restore Punk

It’s not too often an emerging punk band garners enough attention to go viral on the internet.

Even less often will a punk band formed of girls under the age of 17 be taken seriously.

Yet, here is The Linda Lindas.

The punk prodigies became internet sensations when a live performance of their song “Racist, Sexist Boy” was uploaded to YouTube.

They tore through the performance at the Los Angeles Public Library, and gained one million views worth of exposure.

They have returned with their latest track “Oh!” and prove that they are set on not becoming one hit wonders.

True to the nature of punk, “Oh!” pulls from that internal rage we all have.

With fast paced instrumentals and screamed lyrics, The Linda Lindas prove they are a talented band capable of having a steady career.

Listen to The Linda Lindas here.
