Local Spotlight: The Living Breathing Is a Band To Watch

The Living Breathing Ok maybe they are not from Southern California but this band is one that we could not pass up in our spotlight of up and coming rock music. The Living Breathing is from Tucson, Arizona and plays some great rock music.

The Living Breathing are brothers Matt and Mason Haley, Joey Moraga and Steven Natale. They did a cover of the song “Mad World” from Tears for Fears that was unique and different from other covers that have been done before. The original songs the band has released such as “Not Better Yet” and “Rain” have strong rock beats similar to bands like Chevelle but I will even go back to early Bush in songs such as “Candy Hearts“.

The band currently have a self-titled EP at REVERBNATION with videos and other material on the site. They will be making their headline performance debut at the end of July. If you are going to be in the Phoenix/Tucson area The Living Breathing will be playing shows on July 26 at Plush in Tucson and on August 4 at Joe’s Grotto in Phoenix. It will not be long when you will be seeing this band playing local shows in the Southern California area.  The bands  5 track EP can be heard below.
