Los Angeles, CA – The Los Angeles Clippers celebrated yesterday as new owner Steve Ballmer was introduced to the Clipper Nation, City Official and media. The Fan Fest featured many of the Clippers players especially the teams big three DeAndre Jordan, Blake Griffin and Chris Paul.

It was a new breath of fresh air in the arena and surrounding the Clippers which has had some good season as of late and becoming one of the popular teams in LA. Now with Ballmer’s energy the team will lift to new heights when he entered the arena through the aisles meeting the fans and get excited with them after a spring that put a black cloud on the franchise with the racist rants of former owner Donald Sterling. Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti who went up to the stage mentioned that he was glad he was able to come back to Staples Center after the F Bomb Garcetti dropped at the Los Angeles Kings Stanley Cup celebration. This time he was energetic in a different way more of hope and change. “We are one town and stand together as one city without diversity,” said Garcetti.

Clippers Jordan, Griffin and Paul took the stage to thank the fans for their support during the hard time. Chris Paul said, “Everything we went through this season we did not go through it alone, it meant a lot for your support. “ Doc Rivers would even take the stand and with a huge smile on his face looking as it will be one less worry going into the season was excited of the change and mentioned he saw a bright future for the Clippers. Rivers said about the event, “We can now say we are Clippers.” He added, “Today is about this other guy  (Ballmer) who just happened to have 2 billion in his pocket.”

Steve Ballmer electrified the fans giving the Clipper Nation hope that the franchise has a change coming. Ballmer who has given some amazing speeches during his time at Microsoft did the same and took it to an ever higher level. He left the fans of Los Angeles with hope in one sentence and statement,

“If your not bold your timid and the LA Clippers are going to be bold!” Ballmer would also add, “The Clippers are Hardcore.”

The Los Angeles Clippers start off the 2014-15 season on October 30 against the Oklahoma Thunder. You can watch our video coverage of the events from Staples Center below.
